Benefit concert for Ukraine

Residentie Orkest The Hague, Amare, Royal Conservatoire The Hague, Nederlands Dans Theater and Het Nationale Theater are, like everyone else, deeply shocked by the developments in Ukraine. Our sympathy goes out to the victims of the war. To show solidarity and show support, we are organizing a benefit concert for Ukraine in collaboration with Amare & Friends on Sunday, March 6 at 3 p.m. in the Concert Hall of Amare.

Music and stories from Ukraine will take center stage this afternoon. In addition to musicians from the Residentie Orkest and students from the Royal Conservatoire The Hague , various actors and friendly soloists from Ukraine, among other countries, will perform. You can choose what you want to pay for this pay-as-you-like concert. The minimum ticket price is €5, and tickets can be purchased through residencyorkest.nl and amare.nl.

NDT offers a stream through the pay-as-you-like principle for which tickets can be purchased separately.

All proceeds from the concert will benefit Giro555 of the Cooperating Aid Organizations for the relief of Ukrainian refugees. The benefit concert is part of the national campaign 🧡rt for Ukraine | CultureSupportsUkraine of the cultural organizations in our country.

Jan Zoet, general director Foundation Amare: "As cultural institutions in the international city of law and peace, The Hague, we find it necessary to show our support for the people of Ukraine. With music and theater we want to show solidarity and give heart in this difficult time. This joint benefit concert gives us the opportunity to support the national action through Giro555."
