I started playing the violin when I was five years old. My mother is a piano teacher and she had a colleague who taught according to the Suzuki method. Actually, only my brother took lessons, but since she still had a free place in her class, I was allowed to start as well.

My viola was built by Gyorgy Sandor, a friend of a former colleague.

Bachelor violin in Leuven with Lei Wang, master violin in Namur with Marc Danel, double master viola violin in Amsterdam with Sven Arne Tepl and Maria Milstein, artist diploma in Royal Elisabeth Chapel (Waterloo) with Miguel da Silva.

I do not have a favorite composer/favorite piece; there is so much wonderful music that it is impossible to choose one piece or composer. Some pieces close to my heart are Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 2, Brahms' Third Piano Quartet (especially the Andante), Fauré's Second Piano Quartet and Ravel' s La valse .
