My instrument is a modern instrument built for me by a builder in Leipzig: Jürgen Manthey. I like it so much because it is clear and warm at the same time and has many timbres in it. It is a special process to let such a new instrument be "opened" and shaped by your own playing.

First string sextet, op. 18 by Brahms.
