Our emerging artist in residence

Chloe Rooke

Starting in the summer of 2024, Chloe Rooke will assume the newly created position of emerging artist in residence of the Residentie Orkest The Hague.

British conductor Chloe Rooke is a former student of the National Master Orchestra Conducting (Conservatories of Amsterdam and The Hague in collaboration with the Dutch symphony orchestras). She was assistant conductor of the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and also conducted them in concerts and recordings. She also conducted London Sinfonietta, London Mozart Players and Orchestre National de Lille.

In the summer of 2023, she conducted the Residentie Orkest in an acclaimed production of Mozart's La finta giardiniera at Amare by the Dutch National Opera Academy. Next season she will conduct and assist Opera North in Mozart's Così fan tutte, and will assist Garsington in a production of Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
