Everyone is welcome - from novice to experienced singers. Enthusiasm is more important than experience!

Good to know

• Being able to read notes is helpful, but not a requirement

• You will be mentored by several professionals; rehearsals are led by Rick Schoonbeek

• There is sheet music and sung rehearsal audio for each voice type available to practice at home. You will find these further down this page.

• We ask that you attend at least two rehearsals at the venues, the joint and dress rehearsal. You may also come to multiple evenings/locations. Signing up = participating!

Locations & dates

• Theater de Vaillant in Transvaal - Monday Nov. 24 & Monday Dec. 8, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

• Ypenburg Library - Tuesday , November 25 & Tuesday December 9, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

• Muzee Scheveningen - Wednesday , November 26 & Wednesday December 10, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

• Joint rehearsal with all groups at Open Amare (Arts Square) - Tuesday , Dec. 16, 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

• Grand finale: Haagse Meezing Messiah in Amare - Friday , Dec. 19, 7:30 - 10:00 p.m. First a warm-up rehearsal on the Kunstenplein. Then attend part of the rehearsal of Excelsior and the Residentie Orkest in the Concert Hall. To conclude, we may sing our three pieces with choir and orchestra.

N.B. Participants with memory problems (such as Alzheimer's) are welcome to join. However, it is then necessary that they bring their own singing buddy (unfortunately we cannot facilitate this).
