Prokofiev's Second Violin Concerto reflects the composer's cosmopolitan nature. He wrote it in Paris, Central Russia and Azerbaijan, then Madrid was given the honor of having the world premiere. Now the German-Korean Clara-Jumi Kang plays this melancholy masterpiece together with the Residentie Orkest.

Due to circumstances, Liza Ferschtman cannot play. She will be replaced by Clara-Jumi Kang.
