Follow Hiccup, a young Viking, and the dragon Toothless in an epic adventure filled with humor and fire-breathing action. Enjoy the film on the big screen while the Residentie Orkest , conducted by Dirk Brossé, plays the impressive music of composer John Powell live.

Berk is the home of a group of Vikings. However, they must share the wild island with a pair of dragons. The age-old feud between the two enemies takes on a whole new dimension when Hiccup, son of tribal elder Stoick the Vast, befriends the dragon Toothless. This leads to a new situation and countless adventures between Vikings and dragons.

Music by John Powell
British composer and conductor John Powell has produced soundtracks for dozens of internationally successful films and commercials, including Star Wars, Ice Age and Shrek. Characteristic of his musical style is the combination of traditional orchestral instruments with more modern sounds such as the synthesizer. This can be heard in the soundtracks for the film series How to Train Your Dragon. From the epic This Is Berk and the dashing Test Drive to the fast-paced Where No One Goes and the almost Irish-looking Romantic Flight; the music enchants and drags you into the world of Hiccup and Toothless.
