Amare opens - that needs to be celebrated! We're doing that with a party, and you're invited. Residentie Orkest, Nederlands Dans Theater, Royal Conservatory of Music and Amare are in attendance.
Party is something you celebrate together, which is why they also invited the circus artists of Tea Time Company, international hip-hop dancer Redo and the humorous duo George Tobal and Eran Ben-Michaël. "Party!" is a motley collection of varied acts that will amaze, inspire and move you. Full of music in all styles, dance, street art, circus and interaction. Come celebrate with us during the family performance 'Feast!

For all concerts at Amare and the Nieuwe Kerk , in addition to a ticket, you will need a corona ticket. We also ask everyone 14 years and older to show proof of identity.
You show the corona access certificate through the CoronaCheck app and can be a vaccination certificate, a recovery certificate, or a negative test certificate through Testing for Access.

Fringe programming at family show Party!

Would you like to try some instruments? Or do you already play an instrument and would like to try other instruments? In the Instrument Garden you will find four instruments: one from each instrument group. Can you already honk on a brass instrument? Can you already strike the strings of a bowed instrument? Can you get sound from a woodwind instrument? Do you know how to play a rhythm on a percussion instrument? Our teachers will help you.
This Instrument Garden is for all ages.
You can participate in the Instrument Garden for free.
For all activities, we ask that you report to the Arts Square (the open downstairs area of Amare) 15 minutes before the start. From the booth there you will be picked up.

A play-along performance for the little ones in which a beautiful story is surrounded by play and music. The children can play and sing along themselves. Parents are welcome, but feel free to let your child participate alone.
The play-along performance is for children ages 3 to 6.

Create your own composition together in just under an hour and perform it right away? How cool is that? In this workshop our teacher will start working with the group immediately, just with body percussion and the instruments available. Then you will see that - even if you have never played an instrument before - you can very well make music together that you can't stop playing!
This music workshop is for children ages 6 to 8.
