National Diwali celebration
Diwali-concert
Unfortunately, this concert has already taken place. But not to worry! We will be playing many more concerts soon.
It can almost be called a tradition already, because this year there will again be a Diwali-concert in cooperation with Amare around the National Diwali-velebration. Including Denise Jannah, Raj Mohan, Lucky Singh and many more!
Prior to the Diwali-concert, we will light Europe's largest slide with a prayer in the main hall of Amare. This event is free and can be attended without reservations. After the lighting of the slide, the children of the Shri-Vishnu school get ready for the light parade around the Court Pond. A pleasant walk that guarantees camaraderie and fraternization.
This will be followed by the Diwali-concert in the Nieuwe Kerk with music by an ensemble of the Residentie Orkest, Denise Jannah, Raj Mohan, Zangam (Indian choir), Angel Aruna, Karishma Datai, Rukshana Manbodh and Suresh Sardjoe.
5 p.m. Lighting of the Diwali Slide with prayer in the main hall of Theater Amare
6 p.m. Diwali parade along the Court Pond
7:30 p.m. Diwali concert Nieuwe Kerk
8:30 p.m. Closing with prayer
For all concerts at Amare and the Nieuwe Kerk , in addition to a ticket, you will need a corona ticket. We also ask everyone 14 years and older to show proof of identity.
You show the corona access certificate through the CoronaCheck app and can be a vaccination certificate, a recovery certificate, or a negative test certificate through Testing for Access.
