DI-RECT and the Residentie Orkest will tour concert halls in Amsterdam, Den Bosch and Groningen in February 2023. It will be the first time that the band from The Hague and the orchestra from The Hague will perform together in front of an audience. tickets for the concerts will go on sale Monday Sept. 12 at 12:00 p.m. via this website.
"Playing our songs with a large orchestra gives such a tremendous thrill. It has long been on our bucket list to perform concerts with the Residentie Orkest in front of a live audience. Too crazy that this is now going to happen, it will be three very special evenings."

Arranger Tom Trapp of the Residentie Orkest says of the collaboration. "The band's music is very dynamic and layered and therefore lends itself very well to orchestral arrangement. This is indeed going to be a musical spectacle. The orchestra really adds something, they don't just play along, they become part of the whole. At the livestream last year, I saw only smiling faces in the orchestra, which is a good sign. Everyone is really looking forward to this."
