Two groundbreaking composers
Beethoven & Schubert
Additional tickets
Unfortunately, this concert has already taken place. But not to worry! We will be playing many more concerts soon.
Enjoy the groundbreaking creators Beethoven and Schubert, side by side in one evening. The symphonic sounds of Beethoven's theatrical "Prometheus" and Schubert's Sixth, which Jan Willem de Vriend will record on CD this season to complete our Schubert cycle.
These two trailblazers in music history are joined by much lesser-known vocal music. Andreas Wolf, a regular guest at Residentie Orkest and often heard in the "Matthäus Passion," is back in The Hague especially for this today.

"Jan Willem de Vriend whips up Residentie Orkest , brings sharpness and contrast and makes gems of Schubert's symphonies."
