A symphonic feast!
Beethoven 7
Additional tickets
Unfortunately, this concert has already taken place. But not to worry! We will be playing many more concerts soon.
Come enjoy three true classics in one concert. Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Beethoven - a true feast to listen to.
It all begins with Tchaikovsky's fine Rococo Variations, with a brilliant role for cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras. Then Stravinsky's experimental Symphonies for wind instruments, an homage to Claude Debussy. Finally, Beethoven's Symphony No. 7. An optimistic symphony focused on rhythm and dance from the first to the Last note, which made for a rabidly enthusiastic audience at the premiere alone. Last but not least, we look forward to the debut of conductor Kazuki Yamada at the Residentie Orkest.
