Anne & Zef
Unfortunately, this concert has already taken place. But not to worry! We will be playing many more concerts soon.
Anne Frank perished in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Zef, an Albanian boy of our time, is a victim of blood vengeance. They meet in heaven and discover that despite cultural differences, they have much in common. Anne, for example, is a writer and Zef likes to play theater.
Both also sometimes have problems with their parents. They talk about their lives and, as a result, come closer and closer together. That, in short, is the story of the exciting, compelling but also heartwarming youth opera Anne & Zef, based on Anne Frank's diary and Ad de Bont's successful play Anne and Zef.
This family concert is a collaboration between the Residentie Orkest The Hague and Opera Spanga.
