Musical overwhelm in The Hague
Painting Exhibition
Unfortunately, this concert has already taken place. But not to worry! We will be playing many more concerts soon.
How music paints worlds, carries you along, far away in time and space - this Sunday afternoon concert shows just that. The variation of imagination in music takes center stage today. The rare and original Concert Overture by Jan van Gilse, evoking the capricious Dutch weather. The Austrian vistas that loom in Mozart's Fourth Violin Concerto. And the mighty sounds of Modest Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, an edifice of a composition.
Mountains, whirlwinds and musical overwhelming in The Hague. German violinist Tobias Feldmann unleashes his interpretation on Mozart's Violin Concerto, led by our passionate chief conductor Anja Bihlmaier. The versatile top soloist Feldmann is known for his compelling lyricism, with an emotional depth and charismatic stage presence. Close your eyes and let your imagination soar.
Welcome to the RO Starter!
