In the 25 years she has been singing professionally, Anneke van Giersbergen has shown that she dares to sink her teeth into anything. She lent her phenomenal voice to metal music, combining enormous vibrating sounds with commanding softness. A classical talent that we at the Residentie Orkest enjoy working with.

Thus, together with Van Giersbergen we gave two legendary concerts in 2018, heard back on our joint album Symphonized. On this she sings a selection of her work; her hits, but also lesser-known work close to her heart. Together we received rave reviews internationally, and we are taking to the stage again.
