Relax and unwind on Sunday morning
Sunday Morning Concert: Strauss & Mendelssohn

Unfortunately, this concert has already taken place. But not to worry! We will be playing many more concerts soon.
Take a moment to relax Sunday with a symphonic reset for your mindset: classical music for the dawn. We open the morning with the strings of the Residentie Orkest . Under the direction of the American conductor James Feddeck, they will perform Fauré's Nocturne . A late romantic work, full of refinement and hope.
Next up is a very special oboe concerto in which our soloist Roger Cramers lets the instrument shine in all its forms. In Strauss's Oboe Concerto you hear the oboe full of twinkling melodic runs but also exuberant, loud, cheerful and present. Before we give you the Sunday submit, we will finally play Mendelssohn's tribute to the Reformation, his Fifth Symphony . A somewhat heavier, imposing piece that you don't get to hear in many places. An impressive but hopeful start to your Sunday morning.
Musical children's workshop
Tip! Especially for kids aged 4 to 12 there is a musical children's workshop during the concert for € 3.50 per child. Please book in advance! The workshop is in Dutch. Book the workshop here >.
