Unwind on Sunday morning with a symphonic reset for your mindset: a glorious musical start to your day. Conductor Jan Willem de Vriend ushers in the morning with known and unknown works. He will perform Beethoven's Eighth Symphony - a unique sound in the great master's oeuvre. The piece is playful, sharp and even called witty by connoisseurs. 

Furthermore, this morning Ronald Brautigam takes his place behind the grand piano piano. This soloist revives the almost-forgotten composer Johann Wilhelm Wilms, in days gone by also called the Amsterdam Beethoven. His Second Piano Concerto is a unique and energetic Dutch work, rarely heard. Brautigam, who himself recently recorded a Wilms album, knows how to deliver this like no other. An inspiring start to your Sunday morning.
