No finer tradition than celebrating the New Year with the festive New Year's Concert of the Residentie Orkest. A joyful and varied musical celebration with delightful melodies by Mozart. Our regular guest conductor Richard Egarr guarantees musical fireworks with his boundless energy. Ideal for ushering in the new year!
Champagne, oliebollen and musical fireworks! To appropriately usher in the New Year, we will celebrate an exuberant Mozart party on stage with the Residentie Orkest . An evening full of musical highlights with welcome guest soprano Louise Kemény and Raoul Steffani, the Dutch baritone of the moment and in 2023 winner of the prestigious Dutch Music Prize. We will also hear Mozart's very last symphony: the mighty Jupiter Symphony. An absolute masterpiece, named after the God of light and the radiant sky. A work full of the joy of life. Hopeful as the new year.
